Wintry Mix To Impact Friday AM, PM Commutes For Mid-Atlantic

We are tracking a wintry mess that will move across the mid-Atlantic Thursday night into Friday. The rain/snow line looks to end up across North Carolina. Raleigh and Charlotte could see a few flakes, but the chance for any accumulation is very low. The best chances for light snow will be across most of Virginia, where 1-3 inches will be possible in places like Richmond, with some totals as high as 5 inches near and outside of Roanoke. Freezing rain may also result in a light glaze of ice, so please use caution and allow for some extra travel time on Friday. Watch this video to see if your Friday commute will be impacted.
