Southern California Flood Threat Increasing Friday, Saturday

The flood threat is increasing across Southern California this weekend, including Los Angeles and Santa Barbara. The heaviest rain will move in Friday night into Saturday and a few storms could bring gusty winds as well. 3 to 8 inches of rain look possible and rainfall rates could reach up to 1 inch per hour. This intense rainfall could lead to flash flooding and debris flows over burn scars, so be sure to stay alert, especially if you live near Malibu and the Palisades.
