As of 8am this morning, severe weather is on-going for East Texas and Louisiana. A line of thunderstorms will continue traversing Louisiana this morning, bringing the threat for damaging winds, isolated hail, even a brief tornado. A second round of severe weather will be likely for Texas and Louisiana later this afternoon into this evening with the risk extending as far east as Mississippi. All hazards will be on the table including damaging winds, tornadoes, and large hail. The threat for large hail will be greatest in East Texas.
